Virgin Australia have commenced construction on a redevelopment of its Melbourne Airport domestic terminal. The redeveloped domestic terminal will offer an automated check-in process in the T3 check-in hall for Virgin Australia guests.
Key updates include
- Automated bag drop facilities;
- Enhanced self-service kiosks
- A dedicated Premium Entry for Virgin Australia’s Business Class guests and Platinum and Gold Velocity Frequent Flyers, including direct access to the Virgin Australia Lounge.
The majority of the construction at Virgin Australia’s check-in facilities is scheduled to be completed prior to Christmas 2018.
