As some sort of normality returns, Delta will resume its Sydney to LA flights in July – with social distancing!
While there is the standard hygiene measures being implemented at airports, and on the plane, Delta have committed to cap cabin seating at 60% for its main cabin (i.e. economy), and 50% in First Class, and also blocking the middle seats through to 30 September 2020 (which is definitely a good call).
Delta are also given customers the flexibility to change their ticket without a fee for a year, for new flights purchased through to 30 June 2020.
The route will be flown by Delta’s Boeing 777 – a few pictures of the Delta One Suite below.
At this stage, Delta will be the second airline flying between the US and Australia (the other being United with its San Fran to Sydney route).
